Capturing the raw contours of Earth through deliberate stillness.
I document remote wilderness at the boundary of severe weather and enduring geology. From the black sand horizons of Iceland to the razor crests of New Zealand’s Southern Alps and the granite spires of Patagonia, my process is defined by isolation.
Every photograph in the Lumen archive is composed under natural light, often waiting out storm fronts for days to capture fleeting atmospheric transitions. The goal is simple: convey the scale, silence, and presence of wild landscapes without noise.
